SW: Reflecting on the past year, have machinery sales increased during the pandemic, decreased or stayed roughly the same?

SC: Demand and sales have increased due to the difficulty of owners finding labor.


SW: What types of capabilities on your machinery do you think have been the most beneficial to fabricators recently?

SC: Our machines are user friendly and easy to use, which have allowed for a high production rate and lower labor costs.


SW: What are some of the new innovations in technology for edging and cutting?

SC: Our PLC controllers on machines make for a much more user friendly operation.


SW: How do you go about deciding what new machinery advances are needed for fabricators?

SC: By listening to fabricators and understanding their needs so we can adapt to what is needed.


SW: Are you finding lead times for new machinery to be quicker or longer these days?

MM: We have stayed consistent and have always been able to deliver quickly. The pandemic has not impacted us in our machine production schedule.
