On the Cover

Sculptor Darrell Petit collaborated with landscape architecture firm Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA) to create a 60-ton granite sculpture, “Event,” at the entrance to Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences, One Dalton Street in Boston, MA. Crafted from Stony Creek and Barre Gray granite, the architectural piece is the ultimate example of designing with natural stone.
