Designer Jennifer Farrell recently unveiled her latest creative project: The Surfaces Showhome: Calibu Vineyard. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains in Calabasas, CA, the 7,300-square-foot home sits on 3.5 acres alongside Malibu coast wineries and celebrity estates.

The original English Tudor home, constructed in the 1980s, was renovated through an 18-month process -- transforming the property into “Modern Montauk” style. Farrell named the home "Calibu" for its location, positioned between Calabasas and Malibu.

Developed in partnership between Jennifer Farrell Designs and The International Surface Event, this unique remodel project calls attention to some of the finest surfacing trends.

During a breakout session at Total Solutions Plus last fall, Farrell spoke about the design and installation considerations taken for designing an outdoor space, as well as how to elegantly transition from the interior of a home to the outdoors. She specifically cited examples from Calibu Vineyard.
