Riding the Waves

As time passes, things continually change. Sometimes for the good and sometimes presenting challenges. This is true in all aspects of life, including the stone fabrication industry. Regardless of the circumstances, it is how we adapt and handle a situation that helps us “weather the storm.” And one of the most important tools to get through the tough times is knowledge.

Our Stone World team hopes that our audience finds us as a valuable source of information. We constantly strive to cover topics, events and industry news that will assist industry professionals in making decisions that will result in a successful business. And we are grateful to industry leaders and experts in their fields who contribute to our source of information.

In recent years, Anthony Melia of Melia Marketing has immersed himself in the stone industry. He works with fabricators to assist them in being more efficient and freely shares his knowledge with all industry members through educational sessions at trade shows and other industry events, as well as articles that he writes for us. In this edition, we share Melia’s insights on “How AI Sales Tools Help Fabricators with Revenue Leaks.”. AI (Artificial Intelligence) has become a big topic of conversation. Melia explains ways it can assist fabricators to increase profitability, which is especially important now when they are being hit with added expenses such as tariffs.

Another industry coach, who we value, is Eric Tryon, who speaks from personal experience of starting and growing a fabrication operation. Now retired from the industry, Tryon speaks at industry events, such as our recent Stone Industry Education event in Tennessee, where he talks about getting your company aligned to make better decisions that will benefit your employees, production and profitability.

Both Tryon and Melia provide insight and information with the hope to get fabricators thinking. They offer encouragement and guidance on how to take steps to better their businesses and “ride the waves” life throws at them. We hope you find these pieces, as well as our other editorial content, beneficial.
