Infinity Surfaces: Balancing Beauty, Function and the Environment

Launched in 2016 as a premium brand of Gruppo Concorde, Infinity Surfaces has become a recognized name in the North American market. The Italian manufacturer takes pride in producing large high-performance porcelain slabs – ideal for vertical and countertop applications.

Infinity utilizes Digital Texture Technology and high-definition printing to mimic the aesthetic of natural materials, such as quartzite, marble, granite, concrete and wood. The slabs are non-porous, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant and UV-stable, making them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use.

Sustainability and the environment are at the forefront for Infinity, as it uses recycled content and follows environmental regulations. In addition to being visually appealing, the porcelain slabs are LEED-compliant and manufactured in facilities with reduced environmental impact.

“The Infinity factory was so impressive to see how porcelain is manufactured,” said Sedberry Olive of Olive Glass & Marble in Fayetteville, NC. “It is massive and so high tech.”

Davide Corsini, director of sales North America/Latam, took time to explain the company’s history and products to the group of fabricators on the Stone Fabricator’s Alliance (SFA) Italy Tour. Here’s what he had to say:

Rod Sigman CTC, CCTS, CSMTT is the business development leader for MAPEI Corporation’s UltraCare® line of products for the care and maintenance of tile and stone products. Sigman has a proven track-record of success in the flooring industry, with experience in both training and education, as well as all support functions pertaining to national sales accounts and distribution. He has served on the technical committees of the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) and the Natural Stone Institute (NSI). He has successfully completed the Ceramic Tile Consultant Course, is a Certified Ceramic Tile Specialist (CCTS) and is also a Concrete Slab Moisture Testing (CSMT) Technician. Further, he was recognized by the Marble Institute of America (now the Natural Stone Institute) as a significant influence for the stone industry.
